2017年6月27日，自愿性可持续标准中国国家平台在青岛正式启动。质检总局党组成员、国家标准委主任田世宏，商务部商务参赞刘毓骅，中国标准化协会理事长纪正昆，联合国可持续标准论坛代表博纳帕斯•昂格古鲁先生（Bonapas Onguglo）及其五大组成机构的代表共同启动了中国国家平台。自愿性可持续标准聚焦人身健康、环境保护、社会责任等问题，从可持续发展的角度，对供应链中的产品和服务，特别是对生产过程提出比一般技术标准更高的要求。国家平台旨在提升自愿性可持续标准的公众认知程度，促进自愿性可持续标准的健康发展，推动联合国可持续发展目标的实现。

On 27th June 2017, the Chinese National Platform on Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS) is officially launched. Dr. TIAN Shihong, Vice Administrator of SAC, LIU Yuhua, commercial councelor of MOFCOM, JI Zhengkun, President of CAS, Bonapas Onguglo, delegate of UNFSS and representatives from ITC, UNCTAD, FAO, UN Environment and UNIDO launched the National Platform together. VSS focuses on health, environment protection, social responsibility etc., and demands higher requirements in technical standards during producing process, providing products and services in supply chain. The Chinese National Platform aims to improve public awareness of VSS, facilitate the development of VSS, and push forward the realization of SDGs proposed by United Nations.
